ABCD SummerWorks Registration Starts Feb 1: Get an early start applying for a summer job with SummerWorks. Apply online 24 hours a day and follow the step-by-step instructions (requires a working email account). Read and complete the application with a parent or guardian. A complete application includes a signed application, CORI form, checklist, and eligibility documentation. You can also apply in person at your local neighborhood ABCD office. Applicants must be residents of Boston, be between the ages of 14 and 21 years old, and be income eligible. Spring 2012 – Opportunities to become a Union Carpenters’ Apprentice
The New England Carpenters Training Fund (NECTF) will be conducting interview’s to establish an “Eligible Pool of Apprentice Applicants”. Interviews will be conducted in late March or early April of 2012. Additional interviews will be conducted as demand requires.
Who: Anyone age 17 or older, who is a High School graduate or has a GED. High school seniors may apply with a letter from their school stating that they are eligible to graduate within three months. Women, minorities and veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
